Today is Father's Day in Australia - so hope everyone had a lovely day :)
I made this card for my Dad.
I was going to do a farming theme for him- as her is a farmer - but when I saw this 3d sheet at Crafty Nicky - I grabbed it :)
I didnt add as many layers as the sheet had incase I had to post it, but it still has a wonderful 3d effect :)
For a bit more definition I stitched the background in gold thread - but added green and red texta to each alternate hole to add into the colour theme.
Sadly the thread didnt really pick up in the photos - it tied it all together nicely :)
I have another card I have done - and will scheduole it for tomorrow. This week is busy as Mum is back in hospital on Friday so we had pre-op appointments etc. May not get a lot of opportunity to spend on a post this week.
