Sporty times with Incy

Hello everyone, can't believe it is February already !!  Time is flying so fast. 

This fortnight over at Incy Wincy Designs Challenge we have the themes of Sports and/or Mainly Red. I combined them both, cos I think red is an awesome colour for a golfer.

Double Delight with Incy Wincy Designs

Hello everyone :)

Welcome to my latest installment for Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.

The theme this fortnight is Anything Goes, so I thought Id go for something different for a change.
I did have another project on the go but it didn't work too well.
Another idea for another time, I guess

This project was made using the
long stem rose from ROSES (Jan's Digi Stamps)

This project started as a 3 centimetre wide cardboard ring.
I looked at it and thought I could make it into some sort of hanger. Added a circle of Scrapbook paper, which is adhered with tabs on the inside of the ring (the ring is hollow)

I then added 2 pictures of the rose on the front.

The hanger is made with a can tap wrapped in yarn to match the outer of the ring (frame)

As always the photo doesnt show the depth of it.
I have outlined the roses with a light grey marker to help it pop.

The picture was great on my camera, but didnt want to edit too well.
I have made a big tag for a present, something a little different

Embrace The Challenge

Hello everyone :) 

This week at Incy Wincy Designs Challenge, the wonderful Suze has chosen the theme of 

Musical Instruments and Singers :) 

She chose some awesome digis from our fantastic sponsor

Dr. Digi's House Of Stamps

and I decided to chose  Three Girls, One Mic.  I found some striped paper, which reminded me of stage curtains, and I scored through a piece of card to have the look of floorboards/carpetting -   I think it turned out ok :) 

My long time crafty friend Penny, had made a sheet of affirmations for her crafting friends, and I decided that the "Embrace The Challenge" was the perfect sentiment to put with this :) 

As much as I try I always tend to end up with basic flat cards, I try to change but it never seems to change. Que Sara...

IWD Flowers with a Colour Palette

I was privileged enough to be able to choose my own image to showcase, and I am using Narcissus - Yes it is meant to be a white flower with a yellow centre, but I wanted to show that you can make any image anything you want. After all - art and craft is all up to the imagination :)
