Happy Birthday Bobo :)

Hellooooo  yes I have found time to contribute to the Incy Wincy Design Blog!!!! 

I do think of you often, just so much more in my life thats takes my mind away from crafting.

Anyway I made this for the current challenge which is 

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

so with it being my beautiful niece Zoe's 6th birthday on the weekend I decided to make her a little diary of her own.  She likes to write in my notebooks and said she wanted a diary of her own.

The only change I had to make is I forgot to write her name on the cover :) lol

Paper, ribbon and charm are all from my stash.

Oh Christmas Tree

Happy Monday everyone :)

I have to admit this is the first Christmas card I have made or even touched this year
Im shocking arent I ???? lol

 now I did a Christmas Easel card, but you could do anything
as long as it has a tree on it :)

Spring into Autumn IWD35

Hello all :)

Absolutely beautiful autumn day here in South Australia - and I am feeling all bubbly!!
Even and got my hair cut - been putting that off way to long!!

Anyway enough of my ramblings.....

This week at

is the 2nd week in our extraveganza!!!!!!

As you may remember from last week

Our theme this week is Spring or Easter - and I have decided to go for Spring.

My decision was sealed when I found some paper placemats I had purchased a while ago and I totally loved the patterns and colours, so decided to use these colours for Sally. Everything just fell together for this card and I absolutely love it :) The gold butterflies added that bit of extra Spring to it as I guess it could also be seen as an Autumn card.

Hello once again :)


Welcome to Stretch'N'Bubbles week over at Incy Wincy Designs

Alison the owner and designer (read Alison's bio on the challenge blog) gave the design team some cute images to play with and this is what I have come up with....



I am so pleased with this as it come out better than I had planned :)

The black backing represents night time and our little chicks are out on A Valentine's Date.
The white around the mushroom is the light of the moon.
Chicks are having their first kiss :)
I 3ded the mushroom to give it definition and coloured the spots and stem gold
because it is a special occasion :)
The grass is moveable so it can be fluffed or flattened.

I did want the sentiment to read
"There is Nothing Better Than A First Kiss"
a quote from my favourite movies
"50 First Dates"
but I wasnt sure if anyone would buy a card like that???
(This is going on our charities Valentine's Stall)
