Hello on this glorious Wednesday :)
Here is the final card in the batch I did over the weekend.
This card however, combined 2 challenges.
C.R.A.F.T Challenge #7 - Decoupage
and
Cute Card Thursday 67 - A stitch in time
Here is how I combined them....
The decoupage of this beautiful fairy is from Crafty Nikky - who makes lots of pages for you to download as long as you abide by some simple rules.... Thanks Nikky :)
As for the stitching - I just made myself a pattern and went from there. I used verigated (I think thats the word) thread and it catches lots of pretty colours in the light. I added pearls to the corners to finish it off, and added one to her forehead to go over the jewel in her headband.
I am so very pleased with how this turned out - the glitter I added to the wings makes it all sparkle, and it adds to the fanatsy look :)
