May Love.......

Well I decided to try my hand at stamping again. Practice makes perfect as they say - only took me 4 attempts to get this image stamped properly :oops:

This stamp is one I got at a variety store for $2 - they were clearing out a lot of stamps including the teddy stamps so I grabbed them all.

Again I tried different things I dont normally do - and just trusted the colours and shapes.

I coloured the image with Whisper pens and I took pot luck that I could grab colour from normal felt tip pens and blend the colours. Worked amazingly with the sheep - but the bear didnt lighten as I had hoped. Lesson for the day was you can darken but not lighten. As I said I am practicing :)

Went over her shirt with a glitter pen and also highlighted the falling hearts with some glitter to add a bit of sparkle :) Love sparkles huh :)

As for the sentiment - it was a no brainer this time :shock horror: May love rain down down on you was perfect. I wanted a fun font to use but I am a bit uncertain whether to try and colour in the background of the words to match the red paper. Do the cutouts look ok?? Are the to "In Your Face"..... I was also considering adding 3 little hearts under the ribbon on the left so the space isnt so bare.
