There sat a little packet of cute doilies and I had to use them - but they were a little small for the card so I got my baby guilottine out and went to work.
I got 2 pieces of coordinated paper and left a gap of maybe 3 or 4 cms between them. I added half a doily to each section then I added the strip of pink paper across the whole card. This seemed to make the doily look a lot bigger and unless you really look the colour of the papers arent too noticable. You can tell but I think the pink draws the attention away.
I found some teabag tiles from Fred She Said and I have 3ded a lot of Tracys tiles (she gave me her blessing) I decided to 3d these to add to the front of the card. With that done I had 2 tiles left over so chopped them in half diagonally to create corners for the whole card. It was amazing how plain it looked without them on there. All the squiggles add so much life.
No idea what to do for a sentiment so used my trusty Print Artist and just made a 3cm square purple and added white words - For You.
Hope you like it :) Any comments greatfully recieved - Id love to say hi :) and of course another chance for the blog candy - had fun bundling up 12 different ribbons to go into the pack today.... some stamped images too.
