Out of the comfort zone

I was reading about the Distressed challenge in Daring Cardmakers - and thought I would give it a whirl (although not very daring as such) BUT also had the teabag folding challenge at Circle Of Crafters - so I decided to combine the two.

The gorgeous little man in the moon is my nephew Lucas - and he is 9 months old now (shame Aunty Hev) I wanted to make his card and after redoing it about a dozen times (no exaggeration here!) I am happy with the result.

The sequins are yellow to match the card on the backing of the teabag medallion and the watercoloured moon. The teabag is one from the Circle Of Crafters freebies. Sadly it doesnt show up to well in the scan. I also pricked some holes to make some faux stitching along the top and bottom edges.
