My latest cards

Was asked by my Sister in law to make cards for her god children for their birthdays....

So as baby is 1 - I was just doodling and this little doggie turned up - so I made a card with it. It is A5 but I couldnt cut the doggy up could I ;) The only thing I added was blue dots of card from a hole punch - just to add a bit of volume. Other dots are with silver and yellow textas. I "coloured" doggy in with a felt tip pen and brown watercolours. Oh his tongue is red watercolour too.

I also did one for Miss 7 - who has always loved Barbie... and all little girls need a bit of bling dont they :) I borrowed a picture of Barbie from the website (thankyou) and stuck it onto a bit of card to give it strength for when I stitched the border. I then cut around it and added it to another piece of card which I coloured in darker pink to help it stand out. The ribbon on the diagonal is just paper ribbon which has a beautiful shine to it. I put Barbie off centre so there was room for the "Happy Birthday" which I decided not to use when I found the little butterfly in my box. I made a 7 from ribbon offcut. Had to add a bit of bling - every girl deserves some sparkle :) Just some little crystals I had and found a flower sequin. The backing paper is from a baroque collection.

I hope you like them :) Please feel free to say hi :)
