Colour Challenge Incy Wincy Designs Challenge

Hello everyone :)

Greetings from a HOT South Australia.

Tonight Incy Wincy Designs Challenge has gone live with a new challenge.

Carol chose the challenge this time, as she found Pantone's Colour Of The Year 2019

I gave a bit of a leeway and allowed light pink.

As today is my beautiful niece Zoe's 13th Birthday I decided I would combine 2 of Sheepski Designs image into one card front, for the card I made for her.

I used some old backing paper from an old card I had lying around - so old the double sided tape had lost all its stick and the paper fell off :lol: and I had some new gems I bought at the supermarket of all places. Just a bit of bling, to represent the sparkle Zoe adds to our lives :)

Snakes Alive :D

Hello everyone :)

Hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend :)

We have been working overtime revamping the Incy Wincy>/a< website -

a lot easier on the eye and a lot easier to navigate now :)

Greg has outdone himself teaching himself from scratch how to build a website :)

If you havent popped over please do so - or if you have - please go and see the differences that have been made :)

If you like the images feel free to spend big ;) all money raised from the images goes towards helping children in the community :)

Of course there is always the blog candy that i posted last week!!

I have done another card with one of my drawings -

snake (yes very original names you know :oops: )

I am still not sure what to use as a sentiment, I was thinking Sssssssmile or Ssssssaying hi - something will pop up and it will be perfect I think.

Tried to make it look like a desert type atmosphere but you dont tend to get grass in the desert do you? - so just imagine he is at an oasis!!

Coloured a circle with yellow colour burst texta and rubbed orange texta through it - tried to make a sun. The red background represents the heat. Grass is just with some liney green patterned paper I have. Cut strips with scalloped scissors and edged with green paint pen. Made little cute throughout to add some definition to the grass - just cant seem to see it here :)

Managed to get another card done - (New photo up thanks Greg!)

Edges are sponged with purple ink , light must catch it differently it looks so different here.

Elephant is drawn by me - I call him Big Hug and I think he is absolutely adorable :) he is available at Incy Wincy shop too.

Well have to fly - just thought Id check in and share with you what I have been up to.

Hello everyone :)

Well its official - Incy Wincy Childrens Charities online store is up and running!!

We have had our first online purchase :)

Thank you Rhonda!!! She was on the ball - we hadnt even finished loading everything up yet :) (Still a bit more to be loaded - and some minor changes but 90% of stuff is good to go :) )

A dear friend of mine - Mary Helen is a majorly talented artist - who has graciously given permission for us to sell her downloads with the donations being put towards our projects. Our first one is for the Childrens ward at the local hospital.

Awhile ago I asked a few people if they would kindly make a card or two and post on their blog to help promote us - well the response has been amazing!!!

A few have posted already and a couple waited til we are good to go - therefore spreading out the news :)

Hello Everyone!!!

Hope you are all keeping well and thank you for being patient with my lack of posting! Please read the bottom stuff and it will explain why!!

Firstly I want to share with you this gorgeous award - so adorable :D

I will do the rules with it another time as I am up to my eyeballs in stuff - so I am sorry for that!

Just a quick note to let you know things over at Incy Wincy Children's Charities have been a little slow and our SINCEREST apologies!!

Family stuff has hampered our time and the timing couldnt have been worse! but thats life!!

I will explain about Incy Wincy - my brother Greg, S-I-L Tami, friend Greg and myself started a charity to benefit the children of our local community. More details can be found at IWCC (link above in black writing) It gives you an idea of what we are about.

If possible can you go over to either the Incy Wincy site itself or the the Incy Wincy Children's Charity page on Facebook and sign up to receive updates. (Facebook please become a member) the more interest we can prove we have, will show sponsors that they will get their name out in the big wide world!!! If you can do this for me I will be eternally grateful :)

We are opening a charity shop with digital images, craft items and other stuff for sale. ALL money from the downloads are put towards the projects we are doing at the time. At the moment we are raising funds for the Childrens Ward. More project info on "Our Projects" page.

Bear With me and Hang Around

Hello once again :)

The title for this post was said as a joke BUT it is relevant for this gorgeous creation!!!

My brother, Greg, and sister-in-law Tami worked together to make this little beauty! They have loads of ideas for all different kinds of hanging masterpieces - and this is the first one which is a bear in a hot air balloon!

Now they would love your opinion as mine isnt being believed!! Even though it has no bells and whistles compared to what the next one is going to have -but I think it is absolutely adorable and perfect for a toddlers room or play room! These are being made to raise money for our charity Incy Wincy Children's Charities More projects coming up in the next few days and then the shop will be open!! YAY!!!!

Here is the bear in his little Air Balloon :) The balloon is made with a gigantic Christmas bauble we got on sale last week (wish we got more now) As soon as Greg saw them he had an idea and this is what surfaced :) It hangs about 40cm down (16 inches?) and is 15cm (6 inches) wide. The heart in the middle is a bead and the strings are gold cording, which is weaved through the basket.

This is just a different view of the basket to show the gold cording.....The view of the last two photos just shows the heart charm hanging down from the decorative element of the bauble, and lastly the shimmer and decoration of the ball of this piece.

WOW what a week!

Hi everyone!

Havent forgotten you - just MAJORLY busy!!

With the wedding, and relatives going back to England (sob) which meant lots of drinks and airports!

Plus there is exciting news coming - All to do with that link on the top of my sidebar. Been a bit slower than we had planned and I think I may have added the link a bit quicker than I should have!!

Help from amazing people in blogland we are planning to raise some funds through the website - so fingers crossed by the end of the week all should be revealed! You can go and have a look now at what we have started and the other stuff will be following. Needless to say I havent been in bed before 4.30 am the last few nights trying to get my part of the plan going!!
