GECKO GIRLS SEPTEMBER CHALLENGES (scroll for all images)

 Hello - hope you are well 

Creativity has been on the back burner for a long while and I am slowly getting back into a bit here and there. 

Gecko Girls have several challenges every month and as I was fortunate enough to win a year long subscription last year - I wanted to do a little something as I get back to normality. 

As always my photography sucks -(need to find my little light box)-  so as always my apologies for that. 

Instead of doing several posts I will put them all together. 

I make little notebook covers these days - dont tend to send cards (when I remember it is too late) 

My wish for 2023 is to be able to create more and be able to experiment with lots of different things. 

I will label each picture for what challenge I am adding them to

SEPTEMBER 2022 GOTHIC CHALLENGE

The idea for the background is sort of a roof of an old house. 

SEPTEMBER 2022 STAMP CHALLENGE

I removed the words and did a zentangle design on the pumpkin. 
Coloured in gel pens - looks quite dull here but not so much in real life

SEPTEMBER 2022 IMAGE CHALLENGE

The white background looks quite stark here....  realised I forgot to edge the main background. 
Oh well.  Coloured her blouse to match the edge of the green paper

SEPTEMBER 2022 CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE

Enhanced the colours of the original with Crayola Take Note markers. 

Made some details pop to match the "snowflakes" around the image

Hoping to add something for the Steampunk challenge - will see what I can work out.
