Oops......   forgot to share the first challenge of the new year 

from Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.... 

Our theme this time is Quotes or Sayings
(so not just Happy Birthday, Get Well Soon etc)

I decided  to do 2 projects using freebie images over at Beccy's Place
(you can find the long list of freebies over at the blog section of her store
(link is further down) 

First creation is a little notebook.
I was considering ribbons and charms for the spiral but want sure if it would be 

too busy to use - so went for the plainer version.

Medallion 

to which I added a quote I found on the internet

used blue sparkle gel pens to add some colour to the medallion, so it goes with the cover of the notebook.

For my second make I went for a birthday card

the image I used was precoloured, but, I decided to add some 3d metallic liquid over it to give it a textured look. It was a fun process :)
Backing paper was from my stash
