Butterfly Birthday

Hello again :)

Hope this finds you well and happy :)

I made this card for my Dad's wife whose birthday was last week

The image was a freebie from
Crafts U Print

and I just used the butterfly square part of it. The freebie is a beautiful little envelope - totally adorable :)

So this is what I came up with......

Its very hard to know what to do for a card with Cheryl as she is not abled to be "labelled" so I gathered you cant go past a butterfly....

The black paper I used as a strip in the background had a scratchy texture to it, hard to pick up on camera - so I didnt want to cover it up too much. The butterfly has one layer for a bit of dimension. Added the flower sequins for a bit more femininity.

I could work out what to do with the corners as the card was too bear to leave them blank - so I used my trusty flower punch (its earnt its keep lately) and decided to use a couple of petals in each corner to add some colour and interest with the unusual shape... What do you think???

Thank you for stopping by - and if you havent seen my

please do so as it gives you a chance to win $25 gift certificate from

Have a lovely day :)
