Hello!!
Still havent had time to craft yet - these (and the ones from my last post) are cards I had done for the stall BUT I am hoping I feel a bit better about stuff tomorrow and will have some crafting energy for Sunday and beyond.... Wonder if anyone will mind if I skip Christmas and just craft??? Oh I will have some turkey and prawns (my treat for us this year!!)
So here they are :)
This one wasnt anything complicated in making - I just had some gorgeous paper and decided to add a red ribbon band and added a matted Happy Christmas peel off. Colours went together nicely and thought it was just nice and simple.
This one I did the same sort of thing I used some lovely backing paper and added the red ribbon to make a symmetrical pattern (I think I am right in the wording). This stunning image of Santa was drawn and coloured by a very talented lady Mary Helen Sims. She let us use her fabulous drawings and paintings if we wished. My interpretation is of Santa after all of his journey - full to the brim with mince pies and shortbread and having a small nap ;) Well deserved dont you reckon!! I matted him on 2 different colours so he didnt get lost. I used the same peel off as on the other card but cut it into 2 words so I could make use of the ribbon.
I am caught up on posting things I have created for Christmas 2008. I have to start on presents now... I am utterly disgraceful.
Half of my Christmas presents will probably turn into New Years presents ;)
Yeah start a new trend.... yeah thats it!!
Have a fabulous day everyone and I look forward to hearing from you.
Remember to look over at my candy store list - see who has candy on offer
(well the ones I know of anyway!)

What fun and cheery cards! Love the bright colors! Delightful! TFS!
Cute Cards!!!
I think everything should be New Years Cards!!! Mostly because I am sooo behind and now my Printer is broken and there is no time to get it fixed/get a new one, so I can not print my Christmas letters, or my Annual Picture Collage Christmas Card!!!!
New Years sounds good to me.
However, if it were set at New Years I would probably wish for Valentines Day.... Then St. Patricks Day.... Then......
LOL
