This had me in stitches...

Well it took me about 5 hours of stitching to be honest - I dont normally follow the instructions exactly with stitch patterns. But this gorgeous design from Darsie made my heart melt so I thought I would try her instructions. Had a little trouble with the sticking up bits of the feet but I think I did ok :)

I wish the scan didnt make the watercolours look so grainy -
it doesnt look that way IRL.
Used some gorgeous rose wrapping paper for the background. Still not sure if this was the right choice but I am still happy with it. Framed it with gold peel offs and corners made out of the same card I backed the stitched bear with - so it didnt look totally out of place. Gold hearts to tie in the borders.
Bit I am not 100% convinced is the stamped sentiment - Perhaps it is the paper I stamped on??? which is just some left over card stock I had - it doesnt seem "there" to me? When I stamped on some scrap paper I had it looked so smooth and "professional-ish" but not here??? Any tips would be great.
Remember the blog Candy each comment goes into the draw... Sorry I cant say what it is yet as I have no idea myself ;) End of financial year sales are on so I may get a bargain or two.
Have a wonderful day
