Hello again, seems so long since I was hear and I am feeling a tad guilty for neglecting you all.... Mind you it hasnt been THAT long and I know you understand - but you know......
Mum is doing well - never complains about anything - takes it all in her stride. If I told you the whole Mum story we would be here for a long time, so I wont. But for those of you that know my Mum or part of the story you would probably agree she is a TRUE inspiration.
Anyway enough of that huh - so what did I do with the last of the apple green cards???
This.....
I have been determined not to do the same sort of thing with each of the 8 green cards and I think I have somewhat achieved that - this one was started at 5am the morning Mum was in hospital - just couldnt sleep and thought I would try something creative. Found this 6 inch square scrapbook paper - again from the baroque collection - it matched the apple green. Then I was not so much stuck - but not satisfied with anything I placed on the paper. I tried teabag medallions, cut outs... nothing was right until I found my bag of red flower embellishments. I put 3 down the side and found a piece of red leftover card which was basically the right size to compliment the "design" I had in my head.
Took a couple more days to get time to look through my files of 3d images - and found this one by Angela on CoC. Everytime I see this I think of a young Queen Mother. I wish I had printed it a little bigger for the square but I didnt and it wasnt so bad. Originally the red card had been cut with fancy scissors but I didnt like the raw edges so when I found my gold peel offs I finished the card off.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
Hope you are keeping well :)
